Call the salon cart to your gate

It is Sunday morning and a father wants haircuts for himself and his two children without the queue at the market. He opens Kadaikodi, sees the salon carts on duty near him with what each offers today, and taps one.

He picks a time window, chooses “doorstep visit”, adds a note — two children, one adult — and sees the visit fee before he sends the request. The barber accepts and proposes 10:30. From then on, the family can follow the cart as it approaches and gets a heads-up a few minutes before it arrives. Calls and messages go through masked numbers, so nobody shares a personal phone number.

The barber sets up at the gate, the haircuts are done, and the father pays in cash or digitally. The sale lands in the barber’s own daybook — and the family saves the cart as a favourite for next month.
