AI Native

The guardrails came before the model — because AI here would touch a shop's money

Kadaikodi is a marketplace of carts, salons, repair benches and home-service crews. The assistant is live on every screen. The pricing and restock brain is not.

The people running a cart or a salon chair cannot hire an analyst, so Kadaikodi's job is to hand them the judgement a bigger business would buy.

The assistant, the honest numbers and the permission rules are live today; the engine that prices, restocks, dispatches and triages is not, and this page marks every line either way.

Warm abstract layers: a glowing base of records, a protective lattice above, and one closed gate on the money path

Everything below is labelled with where it actually stands in Kadaikodi today — shipped, in progress, or on the roadmap.

Why it is AI-native

AI-native by architecture, not bolted on

Four architectural choices that make AI a first-class part of Kadaikodi rather than a chat window on the side.

Stacked translucent amber slabs resting on one solid glowing base, warm and grounded

The numbers come before the model

Your revenue, best and worst sellers, busiest hours and ratings are counted from your own orders. If you took four orders, it says four.

Concentric warm rings narrowing onto one small bright focal point in a teal field

It already knows what you have open

Open a stall, an order, a booking or a job and the assistant starts there, answering you as the shopper, owner, worker or investor you are.

Two ribbon streams converging into a single woven teal lattice through one shared aperture

One rulebook for people and agents

A tap in the app, an assistant action and an outside AI agent are all checked against the same permissions. There is no special path for AI.

A switch AI cannot talk its way past

Investing in a shop stays off unless explicitly switched on. If the check can't be made, it stays off — the safe direction, not the convenient one.

How it works

From intent to a governed action

Walk the path a request takes. Select any stage to see what happens there and what backs it.

Stage 1 of 5 · Context

It starts from the screen you are on

Every question carries what you have open and who you are in the marketplace.

A stall, an order you're tracking, a booking, a worker's job or an investment — the assistant is handed that exact record before you finish typing, plus which side of the marketplace you're on. 'What next?' means different things to a rider and an investor.

AI capabilities

What the AI in Kadaikodi actually does

Filter by delivery status, then open any capability for the detail and what backs it. No capability is listed as shipped without something in the product behind it.

AI surfaces

Where the AI shows up

The places AI meets the work in Kadaikodi — and how far each one has actually got.

In-app assistant

Shipped

A floating assistant everywhere in the app plus a full-page workspace — present in all five consoles and handed the record you have open before you finish typing.

  • Available on every screen a shopper, owner, worker, investor or operator can reach
  • Reads and changes only what you are already allowed to read and change
  • Still to come: a Kadaikodi-specific briefing and etiquette for risky actions
Trust & governance

AI you can actually let near your data

An AI-native product has to be governable. Here is where Kadaikodi stands on each control — including the parts still being built.

Shipped

One permission rulebook, people and agents

Every action is checked before it runs, centrally, so a tap in the app, an assistant action and an outside agent's tool call cannot drift into three different answers.

Shipped

Your data comes back without asking whose

A worker's schedule, a customer's addresses, cards, loyalty balance and holdings come back with no identity to supply — so there is nothing for a confused agent to swap.

Shipped

A redacted record of every change

Who acted, in which workspace and on what — with credential-shaped values stripped and long content trimmed, so the trail stays useful without becoming a leak of its own.

Shipped

Fail-closed where money is involved

Investing stays off by default on the server — the opposite of how ordinary features here behave — and stays shut until the regulatory position is confirmed.

Shipped

AI terms in writing, not implied

Published: your orders, messages and reviews are not used to train general models identifiably, AI output is not advice, and significant decisions need human review.

Roadmap

Testing, spend alerts and prompt history

Honestly absent: no test set for common Kadaikodi questions, no spend alerts, and nothing yet linking a prompt to what it did or cost. So we publish no accuracy figure.

Models

Kadaikodi pins no model and advertises no provider, because it has no model-powered feature of its own yet. The assistant runs on shared Burdenoff AI plumbing; model choice and bring-your-own-key arrive with per-session cost tracking, not ahead of it.

Questions

The honest answers

Both, and every line here is labelled. Live: the assistant on every screen in all five consoles, the record it knows you have open, the full-page AI workspace, the honest shop numbers it reads and the whole guardrail layer. Not live: forecasting, price and restock suggestions, review triage, dispatch, smarter search.
