A two-sided marketplace with an investment layer moves money in many directions — customers paying for orders, merchants getting paid out, investors funding businesses and receiving returns. Kadaikodi’s aim is to run all of it on one consistent billing spine rather than a patchwork of payment flows.
Today the order side is real: checkout computes the subtotal, tax, delivery fee, and discount server-side and takes payment by the method the customer chooses, so every surface agrees on the number. Billing, commission handling, and quotas are inherited from the Burdenoff platform.
Merchant payouts and settlement, and customer refunds and returns, are on the roadmap — built on the same billing rails so the money trail stays auditable end to end.
Roadmap-aware scenario, stated honestly: server-computed checkout exists today; payouts, settlement, and refunds are committed roadmap, not live features. No real balances or transactions are implied.
