Every merchant starts in the same place: “I want to sell, how do I get on Kadaikodi?” Onboarding takes them from that to a live, discoverable merchant.
The owner creates a merchant record, sets its category, location, and business hours, and declares whether it sells products, services, or both. From there the merchant moves through a verification lifecycle toward verified/active status, with a platform administrator able to review.
Because discovery, catalog, orders, workers, investment, and reviews all hang off a merchant existing first, getting verified is the gateway to the entire marketplace.
Pre-launch scenario — the onboarding journey the platform is built to support.
Do it yourself
Take a merchant from “I want to sell” to a verified, active storefront — set up the business profile, configure how it sells, and go live once a platform administrator approves it.
Sign in as a Cart Owner (merchant) and open your Profile, then click Edit Profile.
You should see: The profile form opens, ready for your business name, category, and address — a Verified badge shows here once you are approved.
