Overview

For a small merchant, the catalog is the storefront. If a price is out of date or an item keeps showing after it has run out, customers notice first. This concept shows a Catalog / Inventory page in the Kadaikodi merchant console that keeps everything a cart sells, physical products and bookable services alike, in a single list the owner can scan and correct in seconds.

The page, titled Offerings, puts its tools in one row: a search box, Category and Availability filters and an Add Offering button. Just below, three summary figures count total items, how many are available and how many are out of stock, giving the owner an instant sense of whether anything needs restocking.

The table has one row per offering, with a thumbnail and name, a Kind chip that marks the row as a Product or a Service, the category, the price, the stock count, an availability switch, and edit and delete actions. The design handles the difference between the two kinds plainly: a service such as a haircut shows a dash in the stock column because it is booked rather than stocked, while a product whose stock has reached zero appears with its availability switched off. A single cart can mix food, apparel, grooming and home goods in the same list.

This single offering model is what lets the customer app show products and bookable services side by side, and it is the list the order board, sales analytics and top-item rankings are designed to draw from. Keeping availability one tap away also lets an owner pause an item during a rush without deleting it.

How it works

Open Catalog from the merchant console sidebar to see all offerings.
Check the summary counts for anything out of stock.
Search, or filter by category or availability, to find an offering.
Toggle availability to pause or resume an item for customers.
Use the edit action to change price or stock, or delete an offering that is no longer sold.
Select Add Offering to list a new product or bookable service.
