Salon Appointment Book and Chair Planner

The day's book by stylist, with processing time, deposits, patch tests and credits, and a panel that re-homes clients after a call-out.

These images are illustrations of the concept, not screenshots of the actual product.

Overview

In a salon or spa, the appointment book is the business. A color service mixes time in the chair with time while the color processes, deposits and member credits change what a client owes, and a patch-test date and color formula need to be on hand before anyone starts. When a stylist calls out on a busy Saturday, the front desk has minutes to work out who else can take each client and to reach them before they set out. This concept shows an appointment book in the Kadaikodi merchant console designed for salons and spas that sell bookable services.

The illustration shows the book for a sample Saturday at one salon, under Orders, with a location picker and an Add booking button. Tiles report booked hours against the hours available, deposits held and three moves pending. Each stylist has a column, labeled with name and level, on a timeline from nine to five. Every block names the time, service, client and length. Color services carry a hatched processing band, and chips show a deposit, a patch test on file with its date, or a member credit covering the booking. One block keeps the client's color formula as a note.

The first column belongs to a senior colorist marked Called out, and it is grayed. A Re-home panel lists her three clients and, for each, the service and a colleague who holds that skill, with a time and a status: one offer already sent and two needing approval. For the keratin smoothing, one stylist is marked not signed off, so the panel moves on to another who is. Send offers and Call client buttons let the front desk act. The design intends that nothing moves until a person confirms it, and that every change stays on the booking's timeline.

In the design, Kadaikodi holds the bookings, deposits and client notes. Notes under the panel say skills come from CrewFoundry, with the time of the last update, and member balances from Subscriber Bot. CrewFoundry remains the record of which colleague holds which service skill, so the suggestions are designed to be colleagues who are qualified and have open time in the book, and Subscriber Bot is designed to supply the member balance behind each member credit. The book is designed for front-desk coordinators, salon managers and stylists working from one shared view.

What this concept shows

  • Booked hours, deposits held and moves pending tiles for the day
  • One column per stylist, with name and level, on a timeline from nine to five
  • Appointment blocks with service, client, length and a hatched processing band
  • Deposit, patch-test-on-file and member-credit chips on bookings
  • A client's color formula kept as a booking note
  • Called-out badge on a stylist's grayed column
  • Re-home panel pairing each affected client with a qualified colleague, a time and a status
  • Skills from CrewFoundry and member balances from Subscriber Bot noted beside the panel

How it works

  1. Open Orders to see the day's book for a salon, or pick another location.
  2. Check booked hours, deposits held and moves pending.
  3. When a stylist calls out, her column is marked and her clients appear in the Re-home panel.
  4. Review each suggested colleague, drawn from CrewFoundry skills, and the time offered.
  5. Approve the moves that need approval, then use Send offers or Call client to reach each client.
  6. Each confirmed change is designed to stay on the booking's timeline.

Who it's for

  • Salon and spa front-desk coordinators
  • Salon managers and owners
  • Stylists and colorists
  • Multi-location salon operators

Saturday Book by Stylist With a Re-Home Panel

The day's book by stylist, with a called-out colorist's clients paired with qualified colleagues.

This illustration shows a salon's book for a sample Saturday in the Kadaikodi merchant console, with Orders active in the sidebar. The header carries a Service: Open switch, a location picker and an Add booking button. Tiles report booked against available hours, deposits held and three moves pending. Four team members have columns on a timeline from nine to five. The senior colorist's column is grayed with a red Called out badge, and her bookings show a balayage with a processing band, a deposit and a patch test on file, a gloss refresh, and a keratin smoothing covered by member credit. A colleague's root color block carries its own processing band and a color formula. The Re-home panel pairs her three clients with qualified colleagues, each with a time and an offer-sent or needs-approval status, and marks one stylist not signed off for the keratin. Send offers and Call client close the panel, and notes below cite skills from CrewFoundry and member balances from Subscriber Bot.
